Jakie zbiory może zawierać muzeum przyszłości? Załóżmy, że można pokazać to, co jeszcze się nie wydarzyło w formie przedstawienia, bądź artefaktu. Byłaby to przestrzeń zamieszkała przez duchy, których nie można by nazwać. Muzeum miałoby jedno ograniczenie – można w nim pokazywać byty przyszłości, lecz nie można przedstawiać ich kontekstu. Gdyż samo to umożliwiłoby wprowadzenie przyszłości w życie nim się wydarzy. Przyszłość przed przyszłością.

A więc byłaby to niema instytucja, która nie miałaby nic do powiedzenia na temat swoich zbiorów, prócz strzałki czasu. No chyba, że à rebours, o tym jak bardzo nie ma pojęcia co ma pokazane w środku, czy są to istotne artefakty, czy kosmiczny zbiór śmieci przyszłości.

Mimo to, byłaby dla tego muzeum szansa by utrzymać należytą powagę instytucji, a tym samym zaskarbić sobie szacunek widza: makabrycznie drogie bilety oraz nieśmiertelne tabliczki: proszę nie dotykać eksponatów!

What kind of collection can be housed by museum of the future? Let us assume that one can show something that hasn’t occurred yet, as a depiction or a material object. It would be a space where nameless ghosts dwell. The museum would have one restriction – one would be able to show there the entities of the future, yet without showing their context. For the last thing would enable introduction of future before it happens. The future before the future.

So it would be a mute institution, one unable to tell anything about its collection except for a time arrow. Unless by reversal, by saying how much it doesn’t have a clue what does it show on the inside: are these important objects, or cosmic heap of future’s garbage.

In spite of that, it would be still possible for the museum to maintain dignity, thus earning respect of the sightseers: exceedingly pricey tickets, and immortal plates: don’t touch the exhibits, please!
